Hi all!

Here's the latest confirmation from the photography group for our class photo shooting session for the batch website and booklet.

Date : Friday, 13 November 2009
Time : 3pm
Venue : TOA Photography Studio

Dress Code
Preferably plain white T-shirt (White vest or long sleeve garments allowed) and long jeans. No skirts & shorts please. Thank you.

TOA Night

Date : 29th January 2010 (Friday)
Time : 7pm - 11pm
Venue : Holiday Villa Hotel, Subang
Theme :Kaleido(Basically, like the kaleidoscope)
Which incorporates stuff like, colors, shapes, forms, texture, etc.


The One Academy will be organizing a TOA Night for current students and graduates.

This will be an exciting night that everyone will look forward to attending as the event will be filled with entertaining programmes such as Mr & Ms TOA, talent competition, delicious dinner and much more! So what are you waiting for?! Come to join Us now..~!

You can do whatever you want, but everything need to be legal, wahahaha ^^

First come first serve, those ticket is limited, get it as soon as possible or you will regret for your whole life!! hehe...

Bought it before January 2010 and you will get discount for just RM120. Maybe you guys feel expensive but that is worth.

For those who are not The One Academy student, you are welcome to participate with us and the ticket will be RM150.

The Portfolio Review

Here’s an opportunity for creative professionals in advertising, design, and communications to showcase work and a chance for the audience to get to know the ideas behind some of the more interesting work being done – here at The Portfolio Review!

Presenters will include Sam Lanyon Jones from animation/motion graphics outfit Tokyoplastic and local creatives from the advertising and animation industry like ActionTintoy and 1000Tentacles. Each presenter will have 20 minutes to share their portfolio and at the end we’ll invite speakers and the audience to give feedback and ask probing questions!

AND we’re allocated one slot for the ‘wild card’ i.e. if you’re an animator doing excellent stuff or if your agency has been blowing competition out of the water lately, we want to feature you! Send us an email, telling us a bit about yourself and why you want to be on line up.

The Portfolio Review will be followed by light lunch where you’ll have the chance to chat and network with peers in the industry in the relaxed atmosphere of Balai’s café.

Multimedia Design Team Building: Starlites TEAM UP!

9.30am : Group at TOA for departure
10.30am – 12.30pm : Activities
12.30pm : Lunch @ Venue
1.30pm – 3.30pm : Activities
4pm : Back to TOA

Venue: Taman Tasik Perdana / Lake Garden Kuala Lumpur
Attire: Comfortable/Workout/Sports wear (Skirts, slippers or heels not encouraged)
What to bring: Water bottle, plastic bag for your trash (optional: snacks, picnic mat, etc.)

Fee: RM10 per student

This outing will be optional to MM71-1 as I understand that some of you will be working that day. To those who would like to participate kindly collect payment and also fill up the indemnity form during your FPS 2 with Yenny tomorrow (before 12pm).
